Sew-In @ the Library

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a worldwide organization that sends shoeboxes full of gifts to children living in impoverished countries. We are crafting items to put in these shoeboxes. Today, we are focusing on scrunchies, or hair ties, to put in the boxes. Fabric, elastic, and safety pins will be provided. In addition to a sewing machine, you may also want to bring a tube turner. If you do not have a sewing machine, or do not know how to sew, no worries! There are non-sewing tasks to do to help make the scrunchies. Come join us, and tell your friends!…
