We want to keep kids engaged in reading throughout their life. We offer a Children’s Reading Club designed to encourage reading and make it fun!
Summer Reading Program
PCPL’s Summer Reading Program runs June through July. The summer reading program encourages participants to read whatever they want, which helps instill a love of reading for recreation. Also, reading as a leisure activity is one of the most powerful tools to increase reading comprehension, speed, and vocabulary! The summer reading program and all of its associated activities are completely free, offering everyone educational activities throughout the summer.

To participate in the Children’s Reading Club, simply download and print the Children’s Reading Activity Sheet, or pick one up from the library. Once completed, return your completed game board to the library and receive your prize!
