Adult Summer Reading Club

Adult Summer Reading Club

What is the Adult Summer Reading Club?

The Adult Summer Reading Program is open to ages 18+. At the Putnam County Public Library, we believe reading is universal. Whether you read books, graphic novels, listen to audiobooks, or read magazines, we believe that all reading is important, no matter the age. We aim to cultivate a community of lifelong readers.

How do I participate in the Adult Summer Reading Club?

PCPL’s Summer Reading Club runs from June 1-July 31. For the Adult Summer Reading Club, each book that a participant reads will count toward one (1) raffle ticket. Each program that a participant attends will also count toward one (1) raffle ticket.

What are the raffle tickets for?

Prizes for the 2024 Summer Reading Club are:

Bonfire Basket: Firepit, Roasting sticks, S’mores supplies
BBQ Basket: Grill Tools, Spices, $25 Gift Card to Myers Market
Restaurant Basket: $25 Don Julio, $25 Breakfast Company, $25 Fairway

Participants will be able to choose which prize(s) they would like their raffle ticket to be entered for. Participants can earn unlimited raffle tickets by reading books and attending library programs. The more you read and attend, the better you chance of winning a prize!
