The Digital Lab at the Putnam County Public Library provides equipment, guidance, and space for the public to digitize media.

Putnam County Library partners with the Community Technology Engagement Program. CTEP is a DePauw-sponsored program that aims to bridge the digital divide in Putnam County by offering workshops and office hours to increase technical literacy. CTEP is now offering office hours at the library.

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are placed in outdoor displays, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story.

The Putnam County StoryWalk® Project began in 2020. StoryWalks® are planned for several locations in Putnam County.

The PCPL Seed Swap is available to cardholders. The library has a cabinet available beginning in March of each year filled with seeds. Choose your seeds and bring them to the Circulation Desk so that we can record how many seeds were taken. After that, take your seeds home and plant your garden!
