Got fines? Under 18? Read it away! 

Read it away offers kids with library fines a simple and fun way to clear them by reading! It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Tell a Youth Services Librarian in the Imagination Portal, “I want to read away fines!”

2. Read or listen to a book at the library. Younger kids can ask a parent or an older sibling to read to them. 

3. Let the librarian know you’re done reading! The Library will waive $2 for every 15 minutes you read!

Note: Only late fees can be read away. Credit cannot be applied to lost/damaged items, collection fees or replacement fees.
