Putnam Adult Literacy Services works with the Putnam County Public Library to offer tutoring, workshops, and resources supporting adult literacy skills that contribute to successful life outcomes.

One-on-one tutoring by trained volunteers is offered in the Library’s private study spaces; workshops take place in the Kiwanis Meeting Room. In addition, off-site arrangements for both types of session can be made.  Learners, tutors, presenters and workshop attendees have access to a wide variety of materials, in print and online, to help them meet adult literacy goals.

For more information about volunteering, upcoming workshops, or making a donation to promote adult literacy in our community, please contact Kathy Shigeta at kshigeta@pcpl21.org, 765-301-7226,  or Masada Sparrow at msparrow@pcpl.org, or 765-653-2755.

These services are available to Putnam County adults who want to improve their skills and knowledge: Let us know what kind of literacy interests YOU.
