April 13th at 7:00 PM: Climate Recovery in the Age of Despair

Here in Indiana young people are getting engaged in a project called Climate Recovery, and cities are starting to awaken to the need to act on climate now. In this presentation by Jim Poyser, you’ll hear all about these kids, and learn how your town can get involved in Climate Recovery.

April 19th at 7:00 PM: Hands in the Dirt: Growing Food in Putnam County & the Future of Local

Drawing from the newly published Letters to a Young Farmer, Anthony Baratta will outline challenges and solutions facing Putnam County and our country. He will also outline success stories in our community, including Myers Market, Harvest by Red Barn Farms, the Greencastle Farmers’ Market, and DePauw’s soon-to-be-launched Ullem Family Campus Farm and Center for Sustainability.

April 25th at 6:00 PM: Citizens’ Rights and the Impact of CAFO’s on Health

Indiana CAFO Watch has grown into a grass roots state wide organization promoting clean air, clean water, and citizens rights. Hear Barbara Sha Cox, owner of a fourth generation farm in Randolph County, speak about her experiences.
